BOLD fixtures are meant for outdoor use, but can be installed indoors if there's a GFCI outlet available inside.
BOLD fixtures are built to be installed outdoors in patios, gardens, decks, docks, and more. However, that doesn’t mean that you can’t install our outdoor lights and systems indoors if necessary.
There are a few things you should consider first:
- Before installing your BOLD system indoors, you’ll first need to make sure you have access to a GFCI outlet inside the home to plug your transformer into.
- You cannot connect BOLD fixtures directly to a 120V wire in the home. The LED bulb will likely burn out instantly due to our fixtures being compatible with low voltage connections (12V) exclusively.
