There is no conduit knockout on the transformer. How do you protect the cable taps?

All BOLD Source transformers have a removable cable tap cover to protect the connection points.

All Source transformers come have a removable cable tap cover at the bottom to protect the connection points from the elements.

Connect your low voltage cable to the Source transformer in 6 steps:

1. Remove the black cable tap cover located at the bottom of your Source transformer. 
2. Flip cable closure tabs open (2 tabs per cable tap).
3. Strip about 1" off your low voltage cable and twist each copper end (make sure both ends aren't touching).
4. Insert copper ends inside each cable tap closure.
5. Flip down the cable closure tabs with a click to secure the connection. Repeat this step for each cable zone.
6. Reattach the black cable cover to the bottom of the transformer.
