All BOLD Source transformers must be plugged into a GFCI outlet and mounted least 18" off the ground.
Source transformers are outdoor and indoor rated and come included with a clear acrylic cover for extra protection against the elements. You can mount your Source transformers on the side of a house, inside a pool shed, storage room, garage, or inside the home as long as there's access to a GFCI outlet.
We also recommend to mount your Source transformer at least 18 inches off the ground to avoid rain or snow backsplash.
