We've heard this feedback many times, so we added a feature called "My Projects".
When you're browsing the site, instead of adding items to your cart use the "save" button. This will allow you to create projects (multiple at once if you want to!).
Put your project together of all the products you want for the homeowner > click on "My Projects" at the top of the menu bar > and click "view project" for the one you want to make a quote for.
From that page you can review quantities, remove products, add the products to your cart to purchase, or generate a quote.
Click the "generate pdf quote" button and it will give you the option to save a quote in your pricing, retail pricing, or just create a product list with no pricing!
